MARKETING

Every day we are faced with a dizzying array of products and services, each claiming to be the best. So how do you stand out from the crowd when you’re trying to reach customers?

There is no one answer

Don’t let anyone try to sell you a one-size-fits-all solution. The answer differs depending on your product/service, your target market, your current marketing footprint and 100 other factors.

But why do you need someone else to do it for you? Why can’t you just do it yourself?

I mean, yeah, you probably could… But often when you’re so close to something you can’t see the forest for the trees. It’s why independent reviews are the best way to spot problems. You know your business so well, it can be hard to see it from the perspective of someone who knows nothing.

That’s where we come in. Because of our varied expertise and backgrounds, and our extensive experience with crafting many different types of marketing, we’re experts at concocting effective and informative campaigns.

One-and-done

Not every situation requires hours of carefully planned materials releasing at just the right times. Sometimes it’s much simpler.

If your problem is easy to solve, we’ll solve it easily. We won’t try to upsell you on something you don’t need. It doesn’t help you and it certainly won’t help us when you don’t get results that match the money or effort you put in.

A campaign approach

Depending on your needs, a campaign approach may be more effective.

What are campaigns effective for?

Campaigns are great for any time you have a message you want people to hear. Different messages require different sized campaigns. For example, if you’re just trying to tell your staff of a process change, an email and a video to explain the new process might do that job (depending on how simple the change is). But if you’re trying to convince someone that your product or service is worth their time and money, it may take a lot more.

What is a campaign?

A campaign is a coordinated, staged, multi-channel approach. Effective and multi-faceted marketing campaigns are super effective at reaching a wide audience, informing them about what you do and keeping them listening. But these campaigns don’t just happen by accident. They take careful planning, research and expert execution to reach the right people at the right time.

What goes into a campaign?

There are a lot of elements that make a strong campaign, but the main ones are:

Strong, repeated key messages

Have you ever seen an ad and thought “what on earth is that trying to say?” or “what is this ad even for?”. A lack of strong key messages can be a killer in any campaign, no matter how great the product or service behind it is. Having strong and crystal clear key messages ensures that you only tell your audience exactly what you want without any confusion or time-wasting. Constantly reinforcing these messages helps us to remember them.

Multiple levels of engagement

Not only should your campaign be engaging with the audience in multiple different mediums (video, print etc.) but it should also be engaging emotionally with them. Things stick in our heads when they give us strong feelings, whether that be through humour, tugging at our heart strings or even making us question what we think we know.

A solid plan

When will the different elements of your campaign go out? How will people find them? How does it all tie together? Without a solid plan all of the elements of your campaign are at risk of being lost and not contributing to the overall success of the campaign.

Creativity

One of the most important factors, and the one that is missed by 90% media we see. Making your campaign unique and creative is what makes it stick in people’s minds. It’s why viral videos have become so popular in modern marketing. When something is unique and surprising we are much more likely to remember it.
